Roofing project 2021
ATTENTION RESIDENTS!!!
Please read thoroughly
Your Home Owners Association has made arrangements to get all of the multi-family townhome
buildings re-roofed. There will be notices posted on the front door of each unit in buildings that
are being done the following week so you know when your building will be under construction.
Here’s what we will need:
Courtyards:
The crews will need full access to all of the courtyards to clean up nails and debris. Please
make sure you remove all items off your front and back patio areas. For example:
If you have lawn ornaments, lights, or art on the outside or your home, please remove them to a
safe area during construction so they do not get damaged. Please take a few moments to look
around your home and remove any items that are on shelves or mounted to the walls close to
the ceiling to avoid vibrations causing them to fall. There will be temporary traffic interruptions
and equipment moving about your streets.
Satellite Dishes:
If you have a satellite dish, The roofing crew will remove it but you will need to make
arrangements with your provider to have them installed on a post mount. They are not permitted
to be reinstalled on the shingles nor are they to be attached to the walls. Your dish provider
should be able to assist you with this. Once again dishes will not be allowed to go back on the
roof due to it voiding the warranty of the shingles and the wall attachment is not allowed due to
the association being responsible for exterior walls.
Parking:
Please pay attention to lane blockage and special requests that come when construction on
your building begins. You most likely will not be able to park in front or behind your building
while it is being done. These requests are being made with your safety and the protection of
your personal property in mind. When work on your building begins, Please make parking
arrangements to keep your driveway open. There will be equipment and dumpsters placed in
and around them. If you are parked in a garage that has a dumpster in the driveway, the car will
be stuck until the dumpster can be moved. Please be aware of the site as you enter and exit
your dwelling. Make sure no one is working above you when you leave and watch your step for
any stray nails. We will be cleaning up after ourselves all day long but we want to alert you of
the risks. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make these improvements to
your homes.
